Summer is amazing! I recruited her out of my Public Relations Graphics & Production course at Texas Tech University College of Media & Communication in 2016. She was (and remains) my top design student. She achieved mastery of Adobe CC within a few weeks and assisted other students who were struggling to grasp the concepts. Summer worked with our marketing team at Texas Tech University Hospitality Services for a year where she took the initiative to continue to develop her skills. The creative she produced for our department is top notch with some of her designs still being used today. She is a pleasure to work with and maintains a positive attitude even under the most extreme circumstances. She is extremely organized and understands the importance of maintaining a positive corporate image. She consistently takes the initiative to insure her work is done well beyond expectations! She has impressive public relations awareness and excellent design skills plus a determination to always put her best food forward. She is a creative professional and driven individual. Summer came to us directly after graduating from college and has always showed her ability to do and manage more. She has taken on projects and completed tasks without ever asking whether or not they needed to be done. She is able to self motivate and direct herself with very little direction or leadership needed to produce high end results. I love that she is outspoken and speaks her mind when she sees something that needs to be fixed to make our brands look better. She is a team player that integrates well with everyone. If you give her a task that she has no experience in she quickly dives into educating herself as she is as resourceful as they come. When I decided to open Barracuda Consulting, she was my first meeting as I knew this would create more workload for this already busy department.
