  As the assistant pastor, my greatest job is to alleviate the busy work of my lead pastor. I oversee many areas of ministry: young adults, families, children, discipleship, and all business pertaining to the church. I have implemented Church Community Builder (CCB) and have now fully integrated it into the culture of our church. I am the primary pastor overall internet communications (website, Facebook, Twitter, CCB, Remind.com, etc.) My current Sunday mornings have me pastoring children’s church, staffing, and organizing all of the children’s ministry departments. I had been the youth pastor of 6th-12th graders for 7 years and truly love teaching, discipling, and being the spiritual significant other in a teen’s life. I thoroughly enjoy seeing students get changed by the Word through the Spirit of God. Missions are dear to my heart so I have had the opportunity to lead a number of foreign and domestic trips designed for students to grow. The student ministry grew from 50 to 100 average in attendance. I also have been ordained as a Baptist Pastor under this guise of this church. In addition to regular ministry, I also volunteer as a certified (ICPC) police chaplain for Blount County and Maryville City. Show less
