When Rakya started in year 2001, we were looking for fresh engineers with high analytical skills and ability to lead Rakya in a long run. We evaluated analytical skill by providing analytical test, which Pavan topped the list [out of 90 students from 4-engineering school]. We selected students for intern project for one year, he got best leadership award out of 4 project group / 16 students. Later in year 2008, Pavan was part of biz strategy and execution team. His questions were laser sharp and were focused towards balanced growth. I find Pavan, restless and he is always hungry to grow his company to new height. I miss him and any time love to have him in my think-tank team.

In this role, helped build a strong platform team (through internal and external hiring, coaching), establishing team charters and define a platform roadmap. Currently driving our organization to achieve and maintain 99.95% uptime Document Previews Platform Managed Previews Infrastructure Engineering team responsible for highly available service, which supports hundreds of file types across platforms and it handled over 2 Billion images per day. Lead the migration of service to optimize for cost per preview and established product roadmap. Orchestration Platform and Pipelines Lead the team managing compute orchestration pipelines, task scheduling. Helped migration to a new generation compute SKU and POC for migration from homegrown orchestration tool (YSS/YAPS) to Mesos/Marathon. Worked closely with Staff/Principal engineers to build technical roadmap for data migration, design of Panda and (internal) customer onboarding.
