  As a professor in the Department of Physics and Astronomy, I research winds from supermassive black holes and dense groups of galaxies, teach physics and astrophysics, and co-lead Western Women in Science and Engineering Research. I am engaged in advocacy for the Canadian astronomy community by serving on advisory committees and science working groups for next generation observatories and promoting greater investment in space exploration. I seek to strengthen the ties between research astronomers and our industrial partners by creating forums for interaction and networking. Show less
