Wearing many hats, I provided exceptional customer service and managed the daily operations of our retail storefront, wholesale company, and importing company. Served as the customer service lead for our wholesale clients and retail customers. Managed multiple websites (retail, wholesale and online marketplaces), including copywriting and product photography. Generated content for our social media accounts. My daily responsibilities included communicating with the Italian factories, website tech support, writing editorials, inventory control, and logistics; all the while ensuring that tasks in each department were handled efficiently and not overlooked. Supervised 1-3 employees and supported them with product training, new hire orientation and onboarding. I enjoyed educating customers and new hires alike about the history of Italian ceramics and sharing my passion for art with them.

In addition to the daily tasks of data entry and various reports, bookings, and rentals, I assisted the organization and operation of the wildly successful Junior Lifeguard program as well as the many other seasonal camps run by the Sports and Aquatics departments of the City of Santa Barbara. I created from scratch one of the most successful camps run by the City (Camp Rad), and gracefully handled telephone inquiries and written correspondence with patrons of the Parks Department.
