  The Wedding Essentials brand has three magazine titles: The Bride’s Survival Guide, The Savvy Bride, Wedding Essentials Newsstand Edition.John was a client of Wedding Essentials for over a decade, and in fact advertising in their media system was the way he built his company Town Crier Hospitality and Convention Services. In 2010, he received notice from Brandon Jones, the founder and publisher, that Brandon was going to retire and close the company. John phoned him, and after some discussions, purchased the three magazine titles. In an interview, John said, “I feel a bit like Victor Kiam. I liked the product so much that I bought the whole company.”John did not buy the company for Status Quo. He and his team have developed a 360 degree media program which combines the best of the traditional print media with digital and virtual reality to better serve his clients in the wedding industry.   Healthy Living Magazine was founded by Don Flynn, President of Lenmark Communications Ltd., as a result of his close association with Markham Stouffville Hospital and extensive knowledge of the health care system. Lenmark Communications Ltd. operated for over 15 years as an advertising agency before starting Healthy Living Magazine.In early 2015, Healthy Living Magazine was acquired by The Town Crier of Markham Inc. This increase in resources permitted the magazine to grow and bring our readers larger issues with more healthy lifestyle information. By combining facilities we have been able to expand our website and social media activity, as well as planning for the expansion of Healthy Living Magazine nationwide.Healthy Living magazine is currently published and distributed in York Region: Markham, Richmond Hill, Stouffville, Uxbridge, Aurora, Newmarket and Vaughan.   John was proclaimed as The Official Town Crier for The Town of Markham by Town Council in 1987. He became very visible throughout the Town at over 200 events each year, conducting historic walks, and reading proclamations at official functions. At the turn of the century, he was appointed as the Official Town of East Gwillimbury and in 2004, was appointed Town Crier for Cary, North Carolina, USA. In 2012, John was appointed the Official Town Crier for Aurora, Ontario, the home town of his father, Donald Webster. In 1998, John formed a company and invited five Official Town Criers of the Greater Toronto Area to join him to provide a service to the Charities, Communities, and Companies of the Greater Toronto Area. He created standards and procedures so clients could feel confident that their event would be handled in a professional and friendly manner.
