Understanding client software needs in relation to business processes in enough depth to translate them to the Software Engineer. In this role, I meet often with clients, either in focus groups or one on one to truly understand their daily work flow and determine how to incorporate their needs into the new software being created for them. I then organize the tasks that become apparent in these meetings into sprints, using the Scrum process for prioritizing software development. This role is primarily a communicator between the business client and the software engineer, which utilizes self-discipline, strong professional abilities and a natural talent for process efficiency.

Managing an amazing non-profit is one of my most fulfilling jobs. HOP provides assistance to those in need mainly in areas surrounding trekking sites in Nepal and Africa. In 2012, HOP opened an orphanage in Tanzania. The Kilimanjaro Kids Community is home to 13 children and is a place of love and opportunity. Working in the home office of HOP, I am responsible for fundraising, accounting and financial clarity, donor relations, event planning and anything else Founder and President Dean Cardinale can come up with.
