Sylvia is one of those rare people that can combine skill, professionalism and competency while at the same time being truly personable and a delight to work alongside. I worked alongside Sylvia when she was CEO for Bread and Water for Africa, and I was impressed by her total commitment and ability to handle an extremely varied set of tasks. No matter who she worked with, she delighted them with her professional but charming personality which we all valued greatly at BWA. Sylvia is able to keep going, even when the going gets tough and she has an incredible amount of stamina in her work. She is is highly knowledgeable in her field, and always found fantastic solutions to problems. She led the charity diligently and with great flare, and was one of the best managers I have ever worked with. I wouldn't hesitate for a moment to thoroughly recommend Sylvia to other employers and companies - with her on your team, you truly have landed on your feet!

I am privileged to have worked with Sylvia for over 15yrs (2004- 2020) in various project areas in Sierra Leone. Sylvia is a leader, a team builder, a project management coach, a great fundraiser for underprivileged societies. Sylvia is a development expert. She has a special passion to help transform the lives of children, young people and families living in under-assisted communities . Through her work with us, we have enjoyed support and trust from various UN agencies, including UN HABITAT, FAO, UNICEF. We have also benefited from her technical support in accessing grants from governments agencies and NGOs including World Vision Sierra Leone, Action Aid Sierra Leone and Bread and Water for Africa (BWA). Her work has impacted millions of lives around the world.
