Responsible for the standard Controller responsibilities including financial reporting and analysis, annual budgeting, accounting operations and standards, managing audits and reviews, team strategy, leadership and development and peer collaboration. Additionally, and even more exciting, I’ve been tasked with transforming the finance and accounting team from operating in a small, start-up environment to a rapidly growing organization compliant with US GAAP as well as incorporating new lines of businesses and initiatives. Highlights include the following: Transitioned financial reporting internally and converted statements from tax/cash basis to US GAAP standards. Established month-end supporting documents and reconciliations for all balance sheet accounts. Developed and executed first collaborative annual budget. Created comprehensive quarterly goal structure and tracking system for accounting team. SAP implementation successfully completed after 2 failed attempts.
