To Whom It May Concern: I highly recommend Jarrod Frates as a candidate for any employment opportunities that he may entertain in the future. Jarrod was employed by ACS/Xerox under contract with the County of Orange for a little over eight years. Jarrod indirectly reported to my area of Security Operations and Design Architecture for the County Enterprise. Jarrod was responsible for about every aspect of Security, Networks and Systems. He is eager to teach, mentor and learn. Nothing is out of reach for whatever Jarrod decided to obtain or accomplish. Jarrod has excellent communication skills. In addition, he is extremely organized, reliable and literate in all Security Domains. Jarrod can work independently and is able to follow through to ensure that the job gets done. He is flexible and willing to work on any project that is assigned to him. Jarrod was quick to volunteer to assist in other areas of County operations, as well. (I can think of words higher than excellent and I place Jarrod in that category). Jarrod would be a tremendous asset for any organization and has my highest recommendation. If you have any further questions with regard to his background or qualifications, please do not hesitate to reach out to me. Good luck Jarrod…

Working on-site or remotely, implement all aspects of the attack cycle (reconnaissance, scanning, exploiting, maintaining access, and covering tracks) using appropriate standard or custom methods within the defined project scope. Utilizing existing access and discovered weaknesses, attempt to gain additional access to demonstrate how weaknesses can provide leverage to compromise an entire network. Document all activity and findings in a follow-up report with usable recommendations taking into consideration business and regulatory requirements. Rewrote the team's pen test methodology using PTES (Penetration Testing Execution Standard) as a framework. Wrote accompanying documentation explaining the methodology to the client and created new report templates that better manage the flow and provide clear information for both technical and non-technical readers.
