  I worked caring for and supporting adult service users with learning disabilities, autism, mental health and complex needs with challenging behaviour for approximately two years. I thoroughly enjoyed my role and learnt a huge amount during the employment. I covered senior positions including but not limited too; travelling to London to represent my staff team at forums, taking out weekly audits and shift leading. I also took a service user abroad on holiday for 7 days, the covering deputy and I, a rewarding achievement for both myself and the client. I worked at mainly two different homes for the company, both residential care in the midlands. One based in Sutton Coldfield and the other in Edgebaston. I changed to a bank position after almost 2 years of full time employment due to an upcoming change of circumstances including moving into my first own home. It is quite a distance away from Edgebaston and so was not practical at the time. I got another job doing the same work but with children, another full time position and after a while, finished my bank position with precious so that I could focus on my future. Show less
