As the director of operations and fully mission qualified Pilot/Air Mission Commanders, myself and my team were responsible for full spectrum operations and training through out Central and South America. While in this role, I managed numerous multi-national events that included military training, humanitarian aid assistance, rescue operations, and advise/assist operations to the countries of Columbia, Panama, Honduras, Belize, El Salvador, and Guatemala. My team also lead the effort in disaster relief and rescue operations for the two CAT 5 hurricanes that devastated Central America. During this time we conducted over 50 rescue events via helicopter, delivered over 1.2 millions pounds of life saving humanitarian aid, and assisted those countries with aviation and advise/assist operations. This was hands down one of the most rewarding and enjoyable assignments that I have had in the Army to date. Show less
