Served as the Resident Services Coordinator for an Affordable Housing Apartment Community in City Heights, San Diego. Daily, I provided services, compassion, and assistance to the resident community. My responsibilities ranged from managing the Learning Center for the youth, providing career development through resume building to the community, and creating a bi-monthly food distribution for the residents, as well as a variety of additional wraparound services. During the COVID-19 pandemic, we quickly pivoted all work to serve the wider San Diego Community through our emergency food assistance program. Worked to help Urban Compass, a small cohort-based educational non-profit, grow to a new location in the Pico-Union community. The 2017-2018 year was the inaugural year at St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic School. I helped manage an after-school program of 30 students, Kinder-3rd grade.
