I cannot express more gratitude for working with Annhien! A stable force, who was a great working partner to jointly solve strategic problems from communications to finance. Her empathy on deep issues like health equity and social justice, abilities to narrow in on finite details, and acumen to remove xfn roadblocks in the 25th hour led to several joint and her own personal successes. Despite the many stressful moments, her ability to always rise above and keep calm under pressure were distinct qualities I will always remember.

It’s rare to encounter an analyst that excels at understanding the big picture and ways to translate it into actionable insights. During the course of her internship at Kiva, this emerged as one of Annhien’s greatest strengths. In an extensive Competitive Analysis of product offerings of similar non-profit organizations, the thoroughness of Annhien’s strategic considerations and practicality of her product-level recommendations demonstrated a maturity of thought that was on par with that of seasoned consultants. In addition to her strong analytical skills Annhien demonstrated remarkable emotional and interpersonal intelligence that enabled her to effectively collaborate with stakeholders ranging from the COO to fellow interns. Her collaboration skills, work ethic, and incessant positive enabled Annhien to overcome every challenge she encountered to contribute in exceptional ways to every project. In short, Annhien’s noteworthy analytical and interpersonal skills as well as her drive to continually improve both her work and the work of the team will make Annhien an incredible asset to any organization.

As part of the Product team, I launched high-potential, revenue-driving ads products for App Ads, Conversion Tracking, & App Advertiser Experience. I did this by: • Ensuring high-impact advertiser solutions were prioritized in quarterly planning • Guiding products through product development (e.g. leading test strategy & success metrics for Pilot, Beta, QA/Alpha), and aligning with cross-functional stakeholders on necessary product changes to get to launch • Generating insights through user research & testing to influence product & GTM strategy Launches include: App Purchase Optimization, Twitter Pixel, SKAN metrics, Collection Ads Show less

Had the pleasure of being on YouTube's new Responsibility team. Was trusted to lead, work on, and help build out complex, global workstreams in response to breaking global issues including: • US and international elections: Led YouTube's GTM strategy during the 2020 US elections, and scaled this strategy out to international markets & elections • COVID-19: Created and launched YouTube's global COVID-19 GTM playbook in response to the COVID-19 pandemic • Health: Developed a value proposition, positioning and began executing on channel strategy to bring more high-quality health content to viewers around the world • Privacy & Identity: Ran experiments and research to develop & inform YouTube's privacy strategy Show less

Led a Los Angeles International Airport strategy to increase efficiencies and driver accessibility at LAX (if you see multiple languages on the site, I worked on that too!). Presented my strategy to the Southwest team and GM, and Uber Phoenix airport operations. I also got to work on Uber Ice-Cream where I helped plan LA's first Uber Ice-Cream driver event at this scale (and ate a lot of ice-cream in the process). My last project here was to further research and explore possible opportunities for Uber's corporate social responsibility initiatives. Show less

Assisted in restructuring Kiva's quarterly initiatives-planning process. This initiative was passed by the COO and is set to launch in the coming quarters. I also led and kept track of the data analysis on one of Kiva's biggest multi-million dollar partnerships, while also conducting weekly analyses on org-wide KPIs. Lastly, I provided extensive data analysis support to the Corporate Product team, and as my final project here, I conducted and led a competitive analysis project that I then presented to the Product team, S&O team, and COO at the end of my internship. At Kiddom, I helped build strategic partnerships alongside our Chief Academic Officer. I also created weekly/bi-weekly marketing plans. With no paid ads, we increased follower growth on our main social channels. I wrote a guidebook to establish marketing principles I've learned to future Kiddom marketeers. My other projects included creating a Competitive Analysis deck that I then presented to the CEO and from this we further explored Kiddom's brand strategy and brand voice.
