      Developed two TEM (Transmission Electron Microscopy) diffraction pattern classifiers using a rule-based method and a learning-based method, respectively. After feeding the data to the histogram-based contrast adjustment algorithm, ring and spot patterns were classified using a rule-based method applying Hough transformation and a learning-based method using an ensemble of neural networks (implemented with TensorFlow). The learning based method achieved 99.798% accuracy!
