Martyn joined the team at a critical stage he showed good aptitude to analyse the requirements of the Norkon Project and was the key link to the business ensuring that the project delivered on time. Martyn was very flexible with the work requirements and helped achieve the tough targets that were given. I would happily recommend Martyn for any roles that come up and indeed would be more than happy to work with him again.

First I was part of a project that was doing web and application testing for internal products and external companies like Natwest. This involved front end testing, cross-browser testing and mobile testing. For Natwest it was an important piece of work, as they launched some of their features live in September/October 2017. Internal products involved testing products like AVR, which was a bulk upload GUI application. Then I moved on to the telematics team; which was testing front end and back end for data sent from the telematics devices and also manipulating data to test certain scenarios. There was a UK public site and then an admin site; the public site was for the fleet managers and drivers to log in and see the relevant information they needed. Fleet managers for overseeing their drivers, map and vehicle location, reports like journey summary, also setting up groups, POIs and seeing registered and unregistered vehicles in their fleet. For drivers this would be to see their map and vehicle activity, reports and my account options. International sites were created for the likes of Spain, Poland, Denmark and Finland. Also helped on to the digital team (ALD International), which involved front end testing tasks for ALD’s UK and International sites for the their car leasing services. Show less

I was part of the Meaningful Membership project at cooperative group, which was there loyalty scheme for their members. I was UAT test analyst for the Contact Centre stream, which dealt with members via CSAs over the phone or by them managing their digital accounts on the MM Website. The Meaningful Membership scheme, would involve providing about 8 million members with new saveandspend membership cards, which would give them new benefits on points rewards, and community donations. In this stream, I was responsible for UAT on existing system (sunlight) and new system (Salesforce) and the website (Meaningful Membership Website). 5 CSAs (business users) were brought in to UAT to write, execute test scripts and defect management, as they had the experience of the contact centre and knew what processes they would face on a day-to-day basis. So, their expertise with my testing knowledge, we could test functionality in UAT phase and give the business information on confidence and readiness. This was achieved and Meaningful Membership scheme was successfully launched on September 21, 2016. Show less

I was a test analyst on a migration project for Boeing (BDUK), which was moving from an old network environment to a new environment. This new build was moving all users on to windows 7, Ie11, Office365, Microsoft Access and Acrobat Reader. Boeing is front-line to the armed services for providing Safety critical, sensitive data and data storage applications. So, this project was UAT coordination testing of these applications on the new network environment platform. (NSoIT) Our test team was UAT coordinating with the MOD, using Application owners and subject matter experts to perform functional testing. 159 applications used by the armed services, was tested on the new environment and that they worked as expected. I was a test analyst in UAT phase on a migration project for Friends Provident International, who was moving from their system Gladys to a new system called Bancs. I was involved in the documentation testing of the system, making sure all documents generated were of correct standard. This was making sure letters had the right content, format and data standards, which was against the business standards and letter specification templates. As part of the telematics project for RAC, which was following the agile methodology, i was one of 5 test analysts in our test team. This project was testing telematics units that went in to fleet company vehicles and would report vehicle details, customer details, reports, fulfillment facility, locator, journeys, Point Of Interests and alerts. Information was sent via GPS to admin and customer portals, where authorised users could view details of data for vehicles. Our test team set up a fleet pilot project using a group of 5-10 cars to have telematics units fitted. This gave us data on our UAT environment, which allowed us to set up test scenarios, run tests and see how it was being reported to the web portals. I also was part of Quality Assurance throughout the project to increase customer/users confidence and RAC's credibility, to improve work processes and efficiency. The project used SIT, UAT test phases and defect management was done in the Bug tracking tool called JIRA. Show less

My role as the main Test analyst working along other stakeholders in the project is to test extracts from source systems, file progression through informatica and extract creation. Also to test the functionality of the new case management system Norkom; that would be replacing the existing systems. I was testing via Integrated System Test and UAT test phases.
