Haohua was the summer intern 2022 for our department at Justworks and I was the senior software engineer working closely with him to define the acceptance criteria for the backend sprint tickets, gave feedback, and also approved PRs to be deployed. Within 10-weeks of the program, Haohua was able to deliver a full-fledged calendar product feature through the modernization of the developer experience using GraphQL and React. Haohua is a hardworking, motivated, and a determined engineer. He is always hungry to learn new things and always strives to be the best, but despite this, he is awesome to work with and has a lot of humility despite his technical skills. Haohua has an impeccable ability to listen and execute feedback while also being able to communicate clearly as during his final intern presentation. Haohua has a tremendous amount of potential to be a fantastic software engineer and would be an asset to any organization he works in.
