I was lucky enough to work alongside Esther for 3+ years at Poppy Barley. Although we technically worked in different departments, it was a small team with a large amount of overlap in roles and responsibilities, and so I witnessed (and benefitted from) first hand her incredibly hard work ethic, analytical competence, meticulous organizational skills, and kind, compassionate heart (leave it to Esther to surprise each and every team member with a freshly baked cake on their birthday!). Early on, she interacted with customers directly as a sales associate, later leading and developing Poppy Barley's customer service department, and eventually, as Operations Manager, streamlining operations and leading communications with our factories in Mexico (one of her many admirable skills is that she speaks multiple languages, Spanish being her first, but she'd often head off to French class at the end of long workdays, too!). As we watched Esther take on a fast-paced and complex manufacturing system, she became so crucial to the success of Poppy Barley that we often collectively asked, "What would we do without Esther?!" Can we give someone 5 stars on LinkedIn? You'd be hard-pressed to find a better teammate.

Working with Esther as she served as a camp counselor was a blessing! She had a wonderful rapport with the campers. She was always professional and appropriate with the children and with other staff. She is kind, loving, caring and compassionate. Serving as a chaplain at the camp, we are always in need to extra help from the counselors in leading some of our tasks. Esther was always willing and reliable. I am honored to recommend her.
