Ayumi is the eye of the storm. She's the perfect calm in the middle of a raging storm. COVID-19 threw everyone for a loop. Within a week, we moved from "business as usual" (just be careful), to "come into the office on an as-needed basis", to "everyone stay home". We needed to adjust quickly, developing and executing new processes to manage this transition from in-person to virtual landscape. Ayumi was pivotal to this effort (and many more). She provided key insights, sound recommendations, and took initiative to make this transition as smooth as possible, all while juggling a busy school schedule, internships, and acting as Team Lead for her capstone project.
