For trainers, the line between being amiable and approachable while also carrying a strong professional clout is often a difficult one to straddle. Jamie brings a unique blend of an outgoing, engaging personality blended with his acumen and experience that ensures his messages and training resonate with audiences. His learning events and coaching produced viable business results after working with our teams at sea. I wish him all of the best in his future endeavors!

You know that guy who can walk into any room and start a conversation with anyone and everyone? That's Jamie. We worked together over various functions in the cruise industry and I always marvelled at how Jamie can weave a story, relate to a client, and speak eloquently on any possible subject! I tried my best to learn from him as a sales & presenting peer. He always transitioned his small talk into something of value either for the client or for himself without the smallest ounce of pressure felt. I hope our professional paths cross again as I would enter any sales challenge happily with him at my side.

Working together with Luxury Brands and bringing hand picked collections to each ship based on itinerary and location. On board I work close with our teams in store and coach and train on guest experience and sales techniques. This would be done through dedicated training sessions and on the spot coaching and working directly with guests myself. Dedicated specifically to to luxury side of the business I was involved in growing our sales by up to 32% on each ship.

Travelling to different cruise lines and ships around the world with a stunning designer jewellery line from Kallati. We would be allocated space inside the onboard jewellery store to set up our collection in an inviting way to keep inline with Kallati standards. We would then conduct events using the shops on board to drive traffic to our collection, this being on a cruise ship we had to make the events as fun as possible while instilling the quality, craftsmanship and luxury of our collection. I work alone as the Kallati Brand Manager on board but it is also very important to work with the team on board to help generate leads and close sales. As we are only there for short periods of time it is important to maintain good relationships with the teams so when you return it helps transition easily. In this role it is important to be visible around the ship and interact with guests to create a desire for our collection. I conduct seminars and talks on Jewellery to crowds of up to 200 people. Working on board cruise ships as manager of the Art Gallery conducting sales driven seminars and events throughout each cruise as well as hosting 2-4 auctions per week depending on the schedule. We would create targeted marketing to work hand in hand with larger marketing ideas to ensure each event has maximum traffic. The auctions would generate good sales numbers from the block along with creating a collecting and enjoyable environment for the guests. We would then work one on one with clients to ensure they had all of the knowledge they needed about the work and artist before closing the sales. As auctioneer and manager I would be responsible for a team of up to 5 people ensuring all work was completed on time and to a high standard, each guests was looked after, the gallery always looked desirable as well as conducting weekly trainings as a group or individually. Each person always had their own personal targets and it was up to be to help them achieve them at the same time as achieving our team sales targets. It was highly enjoyable but also a high pressure target driven environment in which I excelled. Show less

Joined the Royal Navy as an Engineering Technician specialising in Electronic Engineering (Weapon Engineering) before completing training and excelling enough to be promoted very quickly. I had my papers raised to become and officer which in itself is an honour but with the return of service expected I decided not to pursue that avenue as I believed my career to lie outside of the service. During my time in the forces I served in many theatres and trained in lots of diverse courses. I became an advanced coxswain, First Aid Level 2, completed fire fighting and damage control training along with hands on management training and experience. Overall it taught me self-discipline and put me on a fantastic track for my future life at work. Show less
