I worked very closely with Katherine at Children's Mercy in Kansas City on issues mostly surrounding both Multum (the pharmacy medication catalog) and the entire medication process. She has the unique talent of understanding every aspect of the medication process, from the moment a drug comes into the pharmacy, through physician ordering and pharmacy processing, all the way to patient administration. All the while, she's thinking about patient safety, and how what she does can affect the patient. If it's a process around medications, Katherine understands it from start to finish. I cannot recommend her enough; she is truly a gift to any place that she works because of her unyielding focus and dedication to pharmacy, the medication process, and patient safety.

Katherine is a very skilled pharmacy tech who has experience in retail, community and pediatric hospitals. She is also a medication process expert within Cerner. She has demonstrated a vast knowledge of CPOE ordering, pharmacy verification, dispensing and bedside administration. She is fun and easy going and great to work with. It has been a pleasure to work with her in the past and to continue to use her as a resource.
