  For some crazy reason TTU let me create and teach the financial coaching course! It was so fun to teach this course. We spent a lot of time acclimating students to life planning and helping them understand how their financial coaching skills not only affect their clients' financial plans but their life plan as well. I taught two sections of the same course, "Financial Coaching for Wellness" in the Personal Financial Planning department at Texas Tech University.   I enlisted in the Utah Army National Guard on October 31, 2002 as a combat engineer. Later I commissioned as a Medical Service Officer and eventually switched services to the Air National Guard. I served for just under 10 years with some of the most incredible, selfless people on the planet. I miss my battle buddies and wing-men. Being 100% civilian has a bitter sweet taste to it.   As a case manager I supervised other case managers and worked with 3–12 clients simultaneously at a 24-hour residential treatment center. Within about a year or so I was asked to manage the facilities accreditation process, within another six months I was made a visiting member of the treatment team, and about six months after that I was made a member of the executive team. I was the lead project manager for opening an additional residential treatment center and the health care system’s corporate offices.
