US$337 Million – Completion of T2 Tunnel, Kemano, B.C. CA; Kemano Powerhouse, which receives water from the Nechako Reservoir via a single tunnel which is over 60 years old. Completion of a second tunnel will ensure the long‐term reliability of the power supply from the Kemano Powerhouse to powers Rio Tinto's BC Works smelter in Kitimat. Responsibilities: Control and monitor schedule, analyze deviations/variances, and develop contingency plans. Participate in the forensic analysis of project records/data for claim purposes. Coordinate with stakeholders to collect progress and information for reporting. Analyze data into comprehensive facts and figures in terms of dashboard/presentation and relay the outcome to the project team for information and further action. Produce manpower/man‐hour/commodity histograms/s-curves and forecasting manpower EAC based on the productivity factor. Integrate subcontractor schedules in the Project Master schedule, identifying delays/deviations and highlighting the issues to the Management with recommended solutions. Manage project subcontractors and evaluate their performance and productivity against planned targets and follow up for lookahead schedules. Participate in the client progress meeting; capture MOM’s and providing proactive solutions to concerns raised by clients.

Lead Turnaround Planner

CNRL Sulphur Plant Turnaround, Fort Mackay, AB, CA; Maintenance and ABSA inspections of vessels, drums, flare, furnace, service of exchangers, piping, valves, PSVs, flare tip replacement, compressors, scaffolding, etc. 113 work orders in total. Almost everything other than E&I. Achievements: Flare 78-FL-1 and knock out drum (ABSA inspection) were not shut down for the whole period of turnaround, had a very limited window to finish. We completed it timely with proper planning. Material (bagged & tagged), spool and tools were staged near job locations ahead of the turnaround Rental equipment and tools were mobilized this timely, neither had we ended up paying more rental cost nor it caused any delay. All fieldwork packages and reinstatement packages were ready ahead of the turnaround. Established a delay log and changelog for claim purposes.

Lead Project Controls

US$365 Million – Horizon LEP, Fort McKay, AB, CA; Construction of new liquid extraction plant.Responsibilities: Head office based lead role, reporting directly to project controls head, project manager, and indirectly to the director of projects. Responsible for the estimation and cost control of module fabrication as well as planning, reporting, risk management of both site construction and module fabrication with the help of project controls team at site, from the very beginning of the project through commissioning.

Turnaround Planner

LEP (liquid extraction plant) turnaround, Fort McMurray, AB, CA; Total of 298 Tie-ins, replacement of 67 trays inside HEFC column, replacement of turbo expander, flare tip, rewiring of DCS cabinets and SAT of whole plant including new units of Dehydration and Regeneration, installation and alignment of new pumps, and service of heat exchanger.Responsibilities: Check readiness before turnaround started. Monitor daily progress through the turnaround.
