During my time at Dartmouth Films my responsibilities and tasks increased to include over-seeing and coordinating screenings and events, as well as assisting with researching and developing contact lists for outreach and distribution. I also created and amended distribution assets such as artwork, video clips and DVDs. I composed and scheduled social media posts, and created and maintained websites.I was also able to work on shoots as Camera Assistant/Operator and help with archive research and logging.

Office Runner

Dartmouth Films is a documentary production and distribution company. Working as the Office Runner, I assisted with a range of daily office tasks including admin, assisting with accounts, IT support and greeting guests. As well as production and distribution team support.

Blogger, Filmmaker

In 2016 I travelled to Kerala in India, Australia and Fiji. I took along my trusty Canon 5D MkII and posted photos and thoughts on my Travel Blog as I went along. I wrote the blog using Wordpress. I also edited a few travel videos together, uploaded them using Vimeo and embedded them into the blog. I really enjoyed creating content for this platform and sharing the posts on my social media. Camera Assistant/Runner

After graduating I worked as a freelance Camera Assistant/Runner. I was able to utilise and broaden my technical knowledge and on-set experience. I worked on a variety of productions which include an independent feature, a BBC Scotland Documentary and corporate videos for the Scottish Government and RBS. I was also able to get a little studio experience through working temporarily on River City at Dumbarton Studios. After graduating I worked as a freelance Camera Assistant/Runner. Temporary Office Runner

Whilst working as a freelance Camera Assistant I also filled in one day a week as an Office Runner for 422 during November 2015. This allowed me to gain insight into how a post-production house runs. I worked on the reception desk answering telephone calls and I greeted clients and assisted them with any of their needs. I supplied refreshments through-out the day and set out the lunches for all staff and clients. I also did a small about of organising the monthly receipts and accounts.
