Within a successful repro department of highely regarded children publisher, i discovered many skills which had expanded my career. - I’m very efficient at using Illustrator and Photoshop, and was often masking images, colour matching artwork, template design work, and any use or need for this software. - My knowledge of Quark/InDesign software is also high; at work my day-to-day tasks would be checking overprint/knockout, licensed fonts, high-resolution images and using spot colours. - Preflighting PDFs to check there at industry standard using Adobe Professional, and using software such as Pitstop for more advanced uses amendments to the PDFs. - Designing templates or possible ideas studio employees could use for certain jobs, as in how images would look best and how it could attract them.
