What is there to say about Cat? Oh my goodness... an absolute JOY to have on any team. She is a team player in every sense of the word; one of her biggest strengths is how she manages to ride the line between manager and colleague. Her dedication and absolute fearlessness at facing challenges is really something to witness. Cat would be an asset to any team she joins not only because of the quality of her work but also because of her positivity and ability to make you laugh on even the toughest days. I’d rehire Cat tomorrow if I had a position for her.

Catherine is a highly skilled member of staff. She is a reliable, trustworthy and enthusiastic person who is dedicated to her practice. She was a very well liked member of the team by peers and management alike. On a personal note I thoroughly enjoyed working alongside Catherine, her energy is infectious and her determination to always achieve is admirable and commendable.

This challenging and multifaceted role required both strong interpersonal and administrative skills. I hit the ground running, and was responsible for running our Crawley tuition center, welcoming families, holding trials, publicising our center at remote marketing events and managing a tutor team from day one. In addition, I was lucky enough to play an active role within the tutoring team, supporting children aged between 4 - 14 to build their confidence in not only their literacy and numeracy skills, but also in their identity as a fearless learner. I was responsible for analysing the data provided by our online learning tool, feeding back to parents regarding the progress their child was making, and ensuring we tailored our support to meet the needs of each individual child. Working with families with EAL or with children and young people with SEND required a sensitive and often creative approach; I was careful to ensure we always started where the child or young person was at, placing them at the heart of everything we did with regards to both their learning and their development as an independent and confident learner.

Supervision and management of team members in a busy retail position in Brighton's famous 'Laines'; as supervisor my duties included organising the rotas, alongside responsibility for reporting back to Head Office regarding sales trends, percentage variables in profit across the week/year, and responding to competition from local business. I also oversaw a team of four sales staff in lieu of the Manager and maintained daily completion of spreadsheets relating to our sales targets and figures.
