Co-manage warranty phase (several years duration) upon completion of each project.Major responsibility included field management of ITC's Calgary Division (2005-2007) until our Branch Office was set up there, and management of ITC's construction of approximately 45% of Millennium Water / Southeast False Creek Olympic Athletes' Village (April 2007 - November 2009).

ITC Construction Group

  Marine and on-shore construction of Public Seawall with 75-year design life for City of Vancouver via Aoki Corporation. The work included dredging, vibro-densification, marine fill, pile driving, gabion basket walls, lock block walls, cast in place concrete pile caps, precast deck panels, railings, hard and soft landscaping, watermains, sanitary forcemain, and high-voltage underground services. Much of the gabion basket and lock block wall work was well below the low tide line and had to be done in the winter to suit DFO regulations and at night to suit the timing of the low tides.Performed all on-site administrative functions including scheduling, procurement, purchasing, Change Orders, Progress Billings, progress reports to Client etc.Performed day shift field supervision of average daily workforce of 21 trade personnel and 4 own-forces personnel. Also performed night shift supervision when required.

  Longwood Station Mall - new shopping mall of 11 buildings in train station architectural style and anchored by Thrifty Foods.Carisbrooke Condominium - four storey 69 suite woodframe condominium with one level concrete underground parking.Performed scheduling, construction planning, purchasing, procurement, Change Orders, and all on-site monitoring, tracking, and reporting for these projects. Worked with Superintendents to resolve field issues. Issued formal correspondence to stakeholders to manage schedule, cost, and quality exceptions.

  Wood-fired cogeneration plant including fluidized sand bed combustion technology.Created project scheduling of Civil construction works in Primavera and interfaced as a subproject into overall master schedule of 3-party Joint Venture (with Sandwell and ABB). Tracked and managed the schedule including weekly communications with stakeholder groups. Performed all on-site calculations / analysis for the weekly and daily planning of the work. Performed safety planning and site orientations for the new facilities and their areas of interface with the existing sawmill operations. Liased with client (Finlay Forest Industries) and all Trades.
