For more than two years, Tobey has been an integral and highly valued member of Okapi’s freelance design team. She has been instrumental in helping Okapi navigate the complex requirements of New York City’s instructional materials compliance system, providing us with literally thousands of product image composites. In addition, she has produced ancillary marketing materials for us, and did an outstanding job with them. We look forward to our continuing association with her, and I recommend her to you without reservation. Jeff Reynolds Director of Marketing Okapi Educational Publishing

Tobey has that unique blend of creativity married to basic business "smarts" and when joined together make her an important resource for your business. It's not just pretty pictures or a compelling design; it's what those pictures and design can do for you, the story they tell and what they mean to your bottom-line. A perfectionist by nature, Tobey makes certain that all components of her work come in on time, on budget and you know, without a second thought, that she's got your best interests at heart every step of the way. Reach out to Tobey and then circle back to me to thank me too:):)

Recently, when forming a new business, I needed a graphic artist to work up a logo -- a logo that would stand out, represent my brand, and that would match my and my website's aesthetic sensibilities to a tee. I naturally went to Tobey Hartman. Knowing her professional background and having seen her portfolio, the choice really was a no-brainer. Working with Tobey was both pleasant and easy. She spent a lot of time getting to know my brand, my aesthetic preferences, and the purpose of my logo -- it was not at all about her, but about her client. She patiently explored my likes and dislikes regarding how I envisioned the logo and was collaborative in finding the solution that was right for the brand. Throughout the process, she was professional and was always timely, following through on every commitment she made. I have no background whatsoever in design or color theory, and so her thinking about this was particularly detailed and helpful. She was also patient when I struggled to find the appropriate language to communicate exactly what I was looking for. I am thrilled with the logo and proud to have my brand associated with it. In fact, I'm so happy with her work that I plan on hiring her to cook up the logo for another venture I'm working on. After working with Tobey once, I can't imagine going anywhere else. I am delighted to recommend her to anyone else. You'll be glad you went with her!
