I worked with Raul at Woodtech for 7+ years, as our startup grew from a 6 person company to one with more than 60 people in 3 countries, and clients in 3 continents. Raul was one of our first engineers, and was involved from the very early stages in the development of the product and its many adaptations and variations as we launched new applications and entered new markets. Through those early years Raul demonstrated his technical ability, as we progressed from a limited and bug-prone ealy version to a world class product, leader in its category. Raul has also always been a solid team player who does not compromise on quality and never hesitated to put in the extra effort necessary when we faced challenges. After proving himself over the years in different aspects of product development and leading the R&D team, in 2013 I asked Raul to take on the role of COO, a challenging position that involved leading a diverse team of 20 people spread out across various cities and countries, and faced with frequent requirements and problems with clients. We had been through several leaders over the previous years and failed to find the right fit. Raul eased into the job quicklyand with natural authority since he was rightly seen by the team as an expert on the product. In a few months we stabilized most of our most critical situations and made significant progress towards unifying our installed versions and processes. After having tried (and failed) at this for several years with different people, this was a major accomplishment, and most of the credit goes to Raul. Since then, Raul has taken on more responsibility, being in charge of the Development team as well as Operations, demonstrating he has become the key technical person at Woodtech.

I have worked with Raul in different areas and with different contexts. Emphasize his commitment to develop innovative projects and also his ability to manage large multidisciplinary teams. He has proven to successfully overcome complex project management with a high technological component. He always seems to be able to listen to suggestions that would allow us to grow the work experience. According to my work experience with Raul, it is a pleasure for me to give a job recommendation for anyone who requires.
