My responsibilities included mining geology tasks such as; backs mapping, core logging, face mapping, sampling face, sampling grab, sampling core, sludging, sludge chip logging, underground mining OH&S, driving 4WD’s underground, underground communications, using SURPAC, updating daily and weekly mining reports and many other mining office tasks. This was an immensely rewarding experience that gave me the confidence to pursue a career in Geology.
