This means that you end up being a great marketing generalist, capable of dealing with a wide variety of projects but not going deep in any particular area. As an employee, this can be a lot of fun but when you are out there on your own, it doesn’t help. So, I quickly started specialising in LinkedIn. I had used LinkedIn successfully in corporate and knew of its potential.
