I was in Chris’s workshop on Creating a Customer Centric Business at the Business in Heels summit yesterday and was very impressed with the content, his knowledge and presentation style. I have no doubt that I’ll be using these insights better delivering value to customers in the near future. Thanks Chris.

In November 2014, I launched a passion project of mine to empower the coming together of people through the product of Yerba Maté - a traditional South American drink that I have known since childhood. Yerba Maté is a great social lubricant, a natural energy herb with a rich antioxidant profile. It is an alcohol and coffee alternative, for those looking for a healthy and balanced way to enjoy time with each other. I see education as a fundamental human right for all and it will be a critical factor shaping the future of this world. I’m glad I can play my part.

Our team launched major college website re-designs. Yet most importantly, I developed a strong compulsion to drive leading digital solutions to old world education industry problems. From obsolete traditional marketing techniques and dated online learning mediums, I now play an active role in digital guidance across many departments at THINK.

Aug 2011 - Dec 2012
In August 2011 I accepted an offer to go and work in the Education sector for THINK Education. In this role I joined a small team of two and were the pioneers for developing THINK Educations digital presence. It was at Fairfax where I really started to mature as a digital guy. I spent time researching trends in technology and applying my findings to proposals and ideas around the development of the RSVP product. I grew fond of data and became an advocate for data-driven decision making. I modelled every new idea and proposal to determine ROI and impact on user behaviour. I took a deeper interest in security and scam detection, established solid foundations in accessibility W3C compliance and developed a compatibility matching system from psychographic research. Social was also blowing up around this time, as well as mobile and I worked on product developments for Facebook integrations and the RSVP mobile app. Show less My first ‘client-side’ role, working as a Product Manager on RSVP.com.au. In around 6 months I was asked if I was open to moving off American Express and working on the Nestle client. I made the move and quickly found out what it meant to provide some ‘love’ and mediate the relationship through some legacy issues. Over the course of the next year I re-built the trust and quality of the teams delivery on this client and established strong relationships with our Nestle counterparts. We launched some significant projects, including a recipes website, refreshed corporate site, various microsites for Milo and Uncle Toby’s, the list goes on. By late 2008 I had stopped learning and felt the time was right to do the once in a life time 6 month round the world trip and experience more of life. It was an extremely sad day, leaving Ogilvy and all the friends I had made during my tenure. Yet super grateful for the experience I gained through those 3, fast-tracked years.
