  • Worked on a Generation V High temperature reactor with helium being pumped into close looped gas chambers. • Gas chambers condition operated at 2100F and 300 psi, the purity of helium was varied throughout. • Developed and constructed an initial experiment to measure flow velocity for a natural circulation flow loop design, with the upper and lower plena connected with four riser tubes and four downcomer tubes. • Took the incentive to measure the initial flow velocity of the gas entering the loop. • Developed a methodology to measure the time-of-flight flow velocity of any fluid regardless of fluid flow properties. • Collaborated on several projects with other associates that were not related to my field of work. • Designed and manufactured needed apparatuses essential for the project through trial and error.
