Being a member and elected as the Vice President of Administration for the Business Professional Fraternity, Alpha Kappa Psi, was one of the best decisions I have made in my college career. Not only am I giving back to the organization that supported me through out my journey in college, but I continuously challenged myself, and strengthened my soft skills throughout my time in Alpha Kappa Psi. As Vice President, I managed and led over 5 directors and 7 committees to ensure events are planned and executed for our organization. I oversaw and supported executive officers to ensure they are doing well and reaching their personal goals. I organized, managed, and conducted weekly meetings for over 50 members to ensure our members are informed about our weekly agenda and operations. I contributed to guiding and supporting professional development to over 20 new members every semester. Overall, being Vice President of Alpha Kappa Psi has pushed me out of my comfort zone and above my limits to continuously build my leadership skills. Show less
