On my new role as a financial team lead I am responsible for the people and tasks of the finance department. The tasks we perform on a recurring basis are the following:- Accounting: posting and issuing invoices, payments to third parties, bank reconciliation, debt control, treasury management.- Taxes: calculation and presentation of taxes, SII, communication management with the tax agency.- Controlling: monthly reporting to the steering committee, quarterly reporting to main company in Germany, budget preparation and deviation control, monitoring of fixed expenses, profitability monitoring of the different areas, ad-hoc reportsBesides, since I started working in this position I have achieved the following:- Helped to create and consolidate the finance team (5 people).- Integrated agile task management methodologies in the department (daily meetings, sprints, retrospective, autonomous and self-managed teams.- Created closing reports, ageins, etc. using Power BI and Power Queries in excel, from different sources (SAP BO, department Excels), to facilitate control and reporting to management.
