I became an instructor while working for the Royal Mail, initially co-coordinating first aid supplies and then assessing and training courses as an in house instructor. I moved onto delivering training for other companies including St John’s, RB Health and Safety Solutions, Medi Aid Uk, Hailey Training and PHSC, leaving the Royal Mail to concentrate on furthering my career as a trainer. Since then I have built a portfolio of training, I have undertaken as part of my own CPD and to enhance my ability to deliver differing courses. These include... IOSH, Paediatric first aid, health and Safety manual handling, Epi-pen training and allergy awareness, plus AED training; these courses compliment the First Aid at work and First Aid at work refresher courses as well as Emergency First Aid at work that I am qualified to deliver. I have also taken the City and Guilds 7302 certificate in micro teaching for adults which helped my understanding of the learning environment.
