A 90 day internship where I was involved in the production and planning of the window displays for Kansas City's Country Club Plaza location. I began with setting up an ornament workshop, prepping materials and then teaching her how to make additions for her Christmas tree. For the holiday 2013 window, I assisted in creating the pieces for the display. For the Winter 2014 window, I was involved from beginning inspiration mode and sketching to full implementation and installation. During the internship I worked hands-on with a variety of materials and constantly pushed the narrative with the little detail moments. Full of problem solving and inventing, the experience always kept me on my toes.

The group of thirteen interns were prompted with the assignment of creating a promotional video for Sporting KC’s LiveKC movement. The client wanted the video to distinctly portray the possible activities available from the time you leave work and return again. We wanted the video to feel genuine and real, so we captured our own experiences of discovery of Kansas City over the summer. I took part in filming the majority of the video and assisted Crossroads intern Eric Hughey with editing. LiveKC logo designed by Barkley graphic designer Lance Flores. In addition, I assisted with design work of promotional and internal documents for clients such as Krispy Kreme, Big Lots, Sprint, and Weight Watchers.
