Alan has two skills that I admire and he has both to a world-class degree. Alan is exceptionally reliable. Most people are not at all reliable - Alan stands out among the people considered reliable. Alan is a great coach. His track record coaching rifle at Xavier speaks to that, of course. But you can tell he is very skilled in this area by the way he works with people and the way he teaches. Of course he is competent, gets along with others extremely well, is flexible and hard working and all the the other characteristics that make a good employee, but it is important to note that he is world class for reliability and coaching skills.
