Worked in a supporting role to operations, covering three drycast paver plants in southwestern Ontario. Responsibilities included: providing quality control training to plant employees, assisting plant managers to conform with company's quality program, analysis of lab results and quality issues, auditing other plants against the company's quality program, creating concrete mix designs. Assisted Quality Manager in conducting quality audits for other plants in 2017, then conducted them independently in 2018. Achieved significant increases in audit scores at my plants, took a leading role in new product introduction and product transfers as well as quality related projects. Finally, considered cost saving options, presented my ideas to the VP of Operations, and oversaw the implementation of those that were approved.
