During my time working with Jeff, I found him to be a great mentor and advocate for my success. While I was a General Manager at a U-Haul Center he encouraged me to pursue growth in the company. After my promotion, Jeff made a great contribution to my career. He was a consistent advocate for some necessary construction at one of our stores. Without his guidance and advocacy over the past two years, I know this work would have taken much longer to get started. As a mentor, Jeff gave me guidance through some challenging personnel situations as well. He is an astute judge of character and understands the appropriate path for producing the best outcome in these matters. I observed this kind of approach on several occasions, where he handled these with wisdom and discretion. This gave him the foundation to mentor me through similar challenges. I appreciated my time working with Jeff, and if given the opportunity, I would gladly work with him in the future.

Jeff and I became associated after we both relocated to Texas with different companies and found ourselves in a new networking and business environment. Jeff and I quickly aligned and provided support for one another navigating through the new market area and sharing thoughts on economic opportunities to further grow our respective companies. I found Jeff to be smart, methodical, and a deep thinker when presented with approaches to new territory and business challenges. I ended up needing to do business with U-Haul and every store that I dealt with I’d mention I have a friend who is at U-Haul, when asked who my friend is and then I’d mention Jeff, they would consistently state what a great mentor Jeff is and that they were proud to be working with him and in his respective area. Every colleague of Jeff I met spoke very highly of his leadership and ability to set and drive store/unit objectives and results. Jeff has very high integrity and character as well, in all of my dealings with him I found him to be a straight shooter with a canny ability to recommend solutions to any challenge presented. Jeff would make a great asset to any organization due to his ability to lead, achieve results, network, and his relentless approach to grow any business through networking and partnering and his sharp business development focus.
