DeCal Facilitator

DeCals are student-led courses at the University of California, Berkeley. When creating a DeCal, one identifies gaps within the current UC Berkeley curriculum then proposes, creates and facilitates their own classes. My Co-facilitator and I created a DeCal based on the history and benefits of composting and vermiculture. We design the course structure by creating weekly quizzes and unique, engaging, and collaborative lectures for 60+ students. DeCals are student-led courses at the University of California, Berkeley.
