Environmental Scientist
-
Jan 2019 - Aug 2021
As an Environmental Scientist, I conduct field work, monitoring project sites for special status species, noxious weeds, migratory birds, and wetlands. I conduct wetland delineations, make habitat assessments and write technical reports in compliance with CDOT, USFWS, and NEPA standards. Frequently, I create my own GIS maps for use in reports as well as for data analysis. I am actively involved in FHU committees. I organize community service activities throughout the year for the environmental team as well as coordinate and lead school programs to inspire STEM related careers.
