We are here to help our doctors, from the UK, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand, the USA, Canada, Singapore, the Netherlands – the world over really. Working closely with doctors to identify what they are looking for and to work with them to secure locum and permanent roles. Motivators for doctors can vary with many seeking exposure to a different health system, career progression, experiencing a new culture, changing their lifestyle but whatever the motivator here to turn aspirations in to reality. In the Uk, I owned a health based business specializing in bureau and homecare. We were the preferred provider for NHS and Social Services, we received 4 stars of excellence and had the title of Best Service in the London under Care Standards. I worked hard and indeed have been called a workaholic – however it is not all about work and indeed I wanted to refocus on a better quality of life. The country New Zealand came up! In 2007, my family and I decided to immigrate to New Zealand and we choose to move to Christchurch. When I arrived, it was suggested I might like to become a Real Estate agent – I believe my strong ethos of “treat people how you like to be treated” help be become a top agent in New Zealand. However, when the earthquake hit – this all changed and went back to my first and probably final love – the health sector. I’ve held and conducted many roles in; HR, Management, Training, Sales and Nursing – But I’ve always worked in the industry – so have a lot of experience and knowledge to share. I am passionate about helping people, the medical and health industry – and find my approachable manner to be the key to success in this industry but also my willingness to go the extra mile to acheive what is required. I love working for Medcall. After doing an analysis of all the companies to work for – I know that this is where I wanted to work. We offer quality and assurance; it is what we state ‘people who care’. I think we do a fantastic job and are an awesome team. See less Show less
