  In 2005 I began my journey towards Sports Leadership and Management. As a Volunteer I cut my teeth as a Junior Director for Football Toowoomba until work took me to Sydney in 2008. On my return to the region, I became a strategic planner for SWQ Zone and was a member of the bid team that created the new National Premier League franchise, South West Queensland Thunder FC. In 2013 I was successful in my bid to be elected the President of Football South West Queensland, a position which I hold to this day representing 30 Clubs and over 5000 players.
