Bio
Carissa DiGiovanni
During my first two years at The Salvation Army, Jonathan provided us with excellent internship candidates in diverse departments. The intern my department hired from his recommendation worked for us for over a year. She is a very bright, enthusiastic, and hard-working young woman, and was an excellent addition to our team. Jonathan also ran great internship and employee fairs, which were widely appreciated by the staff at The Salvation Army. The intern and job candidates came prepared, appropriately dressed, and with professional resumes in hand. The fairs themselves were well-organized, with a clear agenda and enough timing for on-the-spot interviews. Jonathan was a pleasure to work with, and we were sad to lose such a helpful colleague when he left Northeastern.

Jonathan helped our department (Communication, Media and Theatre at NEIU) put together our first ever Internship Fair. From conception to completion, he guided us through the process while doing his own heavy lifting on the coordination, logistics and marketing of the event. Our fair had more than 160 students attend and the department's internship coordinator, and I'm now fielding several calls and emails from employers and students alike asking about interns and internships. He set a lot of networking in motion. It was an inspiring day, not possible without Jonathan's talents and dedication.
