Staff Sergeant

Sep 2013 - Jan 2023
Medically retired in 2023, my last experiences focused on excelling in Human Resources and customer service to veterans as both Archived Records Noncommissioned Officer for the PA Army National Guard and a Biomedical Equipment Sergeant for the 56th Stryker Brigade. Liaised with Pennsylvania state agencies concerning Federal Congressional and state legislative affairs for military service-related matters . Managed records for over 12,000 active soldiers and 15,000 former service members. Resolved nearly 1,000 unique errors requiring data study and records analysis for soldiers while implementing a new software architecture (IPPS-A). Also managed personnel strength via digital transactions for hiring and discharge from military service. Served as direct leadership for as many as 80 soldiers and groomed new talent by educating and training recent additions to the force. Trained and versed senior leadership on medical equipment practices and conducted “train-the-trainer” conferences regarding the safeguarding and management of clinical devices and technology.
