Portfolio Strategist In her final role at Bainco, Abby was a Portfolio Strategist for a limited number of high net worth families. Working closely with her colleagues and clients’ external advisors, Abby delivered individualized investment and wealth management strategies to some of Bainco’s high net worth clients. As a Portfolio Strategist, Abby and the client teams worked to meet each family’s unique objectives related to investment goals, risk tolerance, asset allocation and wealth strategies. Abby has been recognized as a 2013, 2014 and 2015 Five Star Wealth Manager in Boston magazine. EXPERIENCE Abby began her career at Bainco in 1987 and was instrumental in the development and implementation of the firm’s strategic framework and cultural growth. From 1997 to 2000, she was responsible for opening, growing and managing an office in San Francisco. As a Partner and Managing Director of Portfolio Strategy, Abby was tasked with the supervision and direction of client portfolios. Abby is a Trustee Emeritus at Bowdoin College, and serves as Treasurer of the MTH Foundation, a non-profit organization. Abby began working at Bainco in the fall of 1987, and currently serves as President of the firm and Managing Director of the Portfolio Strategies Group. Abby works in the development and implementation of the strategic framework of the firm to include supervision and direction of client portfolios. She continues to be a trusted advisor to many Bainco clients and has been instrumental in the organization, development, and growth of the firm.

From then until June 2014, served many roles to include a portfolio manager associate, a Sr Portfolio Manager, Managing Director and President. Opened and ran a Bainco office in San Francisco from Oct of 1997 to February 2000. In June 2014, resigned as President and Partner.
