I have known Steve Pope for twenty-five years, after having met him as the editor of acquisitions for Human Kinetics, which published a book that I edited in 1999. In all aspects of his professional work, as a professor, author, and editor, Steve is exceptional. His dedication to his work is unmatched. Having worked with him as an author, I do not think that one could have a better editor. The range of his own work and experience enables him understand the writing process and the work of a writer. He has exceptionally high standards for his own work and expects the same of others, yet he is sensitive to other writers and understands the nature of their work.

Craig Stevens

I have had the privilege of following Steve in his career. He has a unique, compelling mix of experiences as a writer and editor with business and academic institutions. As a result, he is skilled in communicating with diverse audiences. I recommend him highly!
