As a student worker for the University of Connecticut I was able to work part time during my school year. This job taught me basic maintenance skills to expand on my experiences as an apprentice plumber, but also gave me a different look in how a bigger company works. I was able to see how a work order system was implemented and worked, and where I thought improvements could be made. Along with this I learned and become better in skills such as painting, electric, and much more. • Apprentice
      • 2010 - May 2017

I have been working on and off for my family company for the past couple years because of school. Most recently I have taken a much more active role in the company. I have been working on the job sites, learning how to manage stock, estimate future jobs, and overall have been able to gain a deeper look into how the business works. With this in my mind, I have also been able to help teach and educate new employees. As I am still an apprentice there is a lot of material that I myself have to learn, but I have been able to free up time for the other employees, by teaching the new ones. With this teaching I have been able to also reinforce the knowledge that I have learned, and to gain more convince in the work field. On a markting side of the business I have recently been working on the webpage. I am still learning and making improvements on it every chance I get.

    • Engineering Intern
      • Jun 2015 - Aug 2015

As an intern for the Town of Braintree I worked in the Engineering Department. I worked under PE Robert Campbell, and was assigned a variety of task and projects. I got exposure to GPS, as well as actually use in AutoCAD. I was able to learn how to design a layout for a project, and was able to put together a project for an upcoming contractor. I also was able to assist residents in the town with building needs that they had concerns about and show them how to access the GIS system.
