Being the conduit between the IT department and the wider business, I oversee a remote team of IT Business Partners covering 70 branches nationwide with an annual salary budget in excess of 950k. Providing support and advice to our clients throughout joint projects is key to maintaining true partnership working, these include local authorities, ALMOs, DLOs and Housing Associations. My role is to ensure that a high level of service is maintained, not just to our branches but also for our clients during mobilisation periods and general day to day project activities. Working within a fast-paced environment is challenging yet very rewarding and I enjoy providing support and development opportunities for my busy team. I report to the IT SMT and ensure that all projects are delivered on time and to the expected high standard. By chairing monthly meetings with the operational Managing Directors I ensure that I am aware of any new opportunities within the business and agree rollout strategies for any new features that have been developed by the in house team. My positive, ‘can do’ attitude helps me to continually strengthen and build new relationships

This role allowed me to demonstrate my ability to work autonomously and be able to master a flexible and demanding workload. I regularly interacted with other team members in the busy department to ensure that I delivered excellent customer service to both clients and internal staff. Business Analysis and Project Management tasks included; the mobilisation of new contracts; change management for existing branches and clients; actively contributing to development ideas and projects within the wider IT team; being an active member of the Mears Standard Operating Procedures team (SOP); supporting and testing new functionality, developed by the in house team:, facilitated user acceptance testing; fault diagnostics and resolution; general account management and supporting branch staff on day to day issues. During this role I gained extensive knowledge of both client and contractor business processes, especially integration of multiple complex systems. This includes a number of client housing management and asset management systems such as Orchard, Northgate, Aareon QL, Capita, Civica and Keystone.

I worked within many of the work sectors including responsive repairs; voids; gas compliance; capital improvement programs; planned & cyclical works and have subcontractor management experience. The success of my many projects focus on the excellent relationship which I have been able to build and maintain with the client and internal teams whilst implementing best practices and improvements where possible.
